Improving the Efficiency of Air Plasma Spraying of Titanium Nitride Powder

The operation modes of a plasmatron for powder coating spraying have been studied. has node annular input and gasdynamic focusing the powder, outlet holes nozzle-anode are made in form rectangular narrowing-expanding channels (No.34334 RK: IPC H05H 1/42). dynamics trajectories particles were investigated. paper analyzes influence arc current working gas flow rate on structure properties obtained coatings. It is established that phase composition sprayed coatings initial same: main compound TiN, addition, contains TiO2. results tribological tests under dry friction conditions according to ball-on-disk scheme presented. Within framework this study, it can be said, from point view obtaining denser with high performance characteristics, optimal plasma TiN 250 A argon 34 L/min.

Air-plasma spraying colloidal solutions of nanosized ceramic powders
Coatings prepared from nanosized powders were obtained by spraying ethanol-based colloidal solutions into a plasma plume.
